We need a house sitter

Northern - Boundary

Angela

Hi! I am Angela and live in north Idaho. My husband and I raise angora goats, have horses, free range chickens, barn cats, and a few dogs.

At our ranch, we raise angora goats. Duties will include letting them out on pasture in the morning and closing their gate in the evening. They will also need to have their waters filled everyday. If the pastures are not at full production, the feeders will need to be filled with hay, which is right next to the barn.

We have horses that will stay in their large paddock while we are gone. They do not go into stalls. Hay will need to be taken out each day. They drink out of a pond.

We have free range chickens who stay fed with bugs and seeds during the warm months, so they are basically self-sufficient. They do have a coop that is closed at night and the feeder will be filled with laying feed, but they don't eat much of it when they are out foraging.

We have barn cats who need to be fed in the evening.

We have four livestock guardian dogs who live with the goats and do not require anything special. They are fed in the evening. They are friendly and love attention. They do bark at night to keep the predators away.

We have three house dogs: a border collie, and 2 shih tzus. They get fed morning and night.

All the animals here are friendly and easy to take care of. We keep things efficient and stream lined. There is a gate over the driveway that we close at night and open in the morning.

I do have a garden. If it doesn't rain, it will need to be watered.

If you are a working nomad, we have good wifi (my husband is a software engineer and works from home).

We are travelling twice this year (May and the first part of July), so if we could find the same sitter for both trips that would be great!! We would like a sitter to come a couple days early to learn how everything works here. We love to travel, so a long-term relationship would be wonderful!!
