We live in a lodge type home on a 5 acre property in Rosedale near Kopachuck St.Park. We have a 13 old lame flat coated retriever Rosie-91 pounds of excitement! and two petite female cats, Rosie doesn't need to be walked, she likes to go out to watch the world go by from the porch. The pets can be left for the day while you are enjoying the local area. Our home has an updated kitchen, solar panels, wi-fi, a lot of stained glass, and streaming such as Netflix, Prime Youtube TV etc (sorry, no cable!)Come sit on the covered porch to watch the sunsets!

What a gorgeous location! This wonderful home is in the country, so there's plenty of greenery and wildlife (although I never saw any). It was so quiet at night that I didn't sleep with my usual earplugs. Lucie, Lily and Rosie are all sweet loves, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them, They are really easy to care for. Kathy was warm, friendly, fun, and generous. She let us come early and stay a day later because it fit our schedule better to do so. She and her husband built their house, and it is filled with character and history. It is situated on a lovely 5-acre property with forest and gardens and blackberry brambles, os which we partook regularly- yum!) No rating I had a great time in Gig Harbor over spring break in 2018. This was my first official house sitting gig in Gig Harbor. Kathy and her husband are very warm and welcoming. Their plans changed slightly the night I arrived so they needed to stay home and leave in the morning. They treated me to dinner at a local popular restaurant on the Harbor. It was delicious.
