Do the math
Whether you're sitting for free, or getting paid, house sitting can be a wonderful way to save, or make, good money.

A home in lovely Vermont with 2 dogs, 2 disabled parrots and several potted plants. Experience with parrots necessary, as parrot bites hurt.
One XL dog with behavioral issues (no aggression, too excited around other dogs, barking, pulling, jumping, etc.) and one disabled Congo African Gray will require patience and routine, mental stimulation and exercise (step-up to perch, walk around on floor, crack into an in-shell wallnut, etc.), not to mention continued training, heat regulation, and trust building.
Both dogs are doodle mixes and both parrots are non-flighted, due to their disability. There are dietary limits and allergies in all animals.
Nothing too difficult, just seeking someone who can follow direction and likes a challenge. Container plants need watering once a week, some with fertilizer.
These boys are full of love, but not for the faint of heart!
I do not want someone who will be gone all day, as these boys usually always have at least one person in the house. Absolutely no smoking or vaping, no scented candles, no chemicals for cleaning or teflon pans, etc. These are normal parrot restrictions. Ideally, sitter has experience with parrots--congos--and reading parrot body language to avoid bites. I'll want facetime calls a few times a week to check on animals and house.
House is lovely and immaculate. It MUST be kept that way and I'll be asking to see the house in facetime calls. There is a small indoor gym in an unheated studio apartment that I'm alright with you using as long as you're healthy and treat it professionally with wipe downs and some vacuuming at the end of your stay. In the case that I return to the states for a work trip, I will stay in the studio while sitter remains in the house.
