I'm a writer, currently working on a memoir about my Southern childhood and ancestry. House-sitting allows me to pursue my craft full-time. The added bonus? I get to travel and spend meaningful time in parts of the country I might not otherwise get to see, and make some new animal friends along the way.

Ideally, I love house-sitting in quiet rural areas, with beautiful views and animals to care for. I have a lot of small-farm experience with chickens, goats, pigs, bees, and gardens. I love both dogs and cats, and I'm good with them.

I'm clean, mature, and quiet. I mostly keep to myself, but I love animals. I take daily walks, so if you have dogs that enjoy that pastime, they'll have a hiking companion. I am also an experienced beekeeper, a small-farm farmer, and a good carpenter. I can mend fences, build chicken coops, and as a former home-remodeler, can perform any number of household repairs, should the need arise. With mobile employment, I'm also fairly flexible as far as dates are concerned.
