Shelley: 51, ESL teacher

We are both college professors (Pete teaches audio production, and Shelley teaches English to adult language learners). Now that our daughters are both in college, we would love to travel more as time allows, to visit the places we already love and discover new ones! Shelley grew up on a farm, and Pete grew up with many beloved dogs as part of the family. We've had backyard chickens in the past, and now we pour our love into Zoe, our rescued Russian Blue mix kitty. We love gardening, so we would be happy to care for your garden and plants as well as your pets and home.

Shelley, Pete and family were outstanding. They took such good care of our house and dog, Huckleberry. Their communication was great and they provided regular updates and photos of Huck throughout their stay. We could tell they treated our home like their own. They did all of the minor home maintenance that we asked for and more. We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a house sitter and would happily host them again!
