  • Both Michele & David grew up on hobby farms with animals. We had a 100-acre farm back East before retiring out West in 2019. Our focus was sheep farming, but we also had chickens, goats, and cattle/calves.

ABOUT US:
We are an active married couple who retired from our "real jobs" and our small sheep/cattle farm in 2019. We now enjoy traveling with our dogs, playing pickleball, and genealogy. We love animals, and got through pandemic boredom by Rover dog sitting (all 5-star reviews). We owned a farm back east before we moved to family in the Pacific NW, and so are also experienced with cats, chickens, sheep, goats, and cattle. We keep a lovely home and yard of our own, and Michele (Shelley) loves gardening, her houseplants, and admits she's a bit of a clean freak. You will definitely come back to a clean and tidy home!

WHY US:
As retired military servicemembers, you will find us trustworthy, friendly, responsible, and communicative. We've used house sitters ourselves while traveling abroad, so we fully appreciate that enjoying your vacation time away is dependent upon leaving your home in the best hands. We love an adventure and occasional change of scenery, and would make the perfect house/pet/plant/farm sitters for you -- provided we can bring our 2 dogs (miniature poodle and border collie). They are seniors, well behaved, and inseparable from us. Both girls get along well with other animals and love enrichment activities and daily walks.

OTHER ITEMS OF NOTE:
We have advanced animal care experience, i.e., administering epilepsy and senior pet medications, giving insulin shots for pet diabetes, livestock vaccinations, deworming, lambing, and calving.
