Piotr: 71, Retired physician

I'm 71, single, a retired physician.
After working for 25 years as an emergency physician I sold my house on Long Island, NY and after spending some time in Europe settled in Texas.
I consider myself reliable and quiet and it can be confirmed by others. I enjoy reading and listening (music and books). I like to walk and bike. I am fond of cats and dogs. I am more of a city dweller but I wouldn't mind staying in any location. I prefer being alone.
My first housesitting happen to be in Puerto Rico {Vieques) during and after the hurricanes in 2017. It was tough but I think the owners were satisfied. Then I spent several weeks on the upper peninsula of Michigan in a lovely house with a friendly cat. It was very cold outside but I enjoyed the house and the solitude.
Currently, after staying put on a farm in Texas for a while I am looking to try housesitting again.

Piotr was an excellent house sitter. Not only did my dog get lots of attention, Piotr even picked up an additional bag of dog food when I was running low. We communicated via text while I was away, so I felt confident that all was well in my home. And, when my plans changed partway through my trip, Piotr kindly accommodated a shifting timeline - very much appreciated. I would absolutely contact him for future house sitting.

Piotr was a very fine house sitter and fulfilled all our requested care taking tasks. He was not interested in anything requiring too much in the way of manual labor which is perfectly understandable as Piotr's occupation in life has been that of a medical doctor. He house sat through one of the worst hurricanes in recent m,emory and assisted me whan asked with system up grades.
