Hi there. We are Mary and Wayne, a retired couple eager to do more than just sit and be retired! We are healthy and active and love to travel. We are independent motorcycle enthusiasts (no riding club affiliation) and this is how we travel. COVID 19 led to cabin fever. As a result we decided to sell the house and become traveling house/pet sitters. Wow how time flys! We are now 3+ years on the road and are loving it. Best decision ever made. Since joining Housesitters in May of 2021 we have had sits ranging from a few days to three months. We have traveled over thousands of miles. We love dogs, cats, chickens, parrots, and parakeets and more! We are ready to expand our experience (i.e. goats or pigs?) and are always ready to love and care for your pets and your home. We appreciated having Mary and Wayne back for a second sit- as did Tiger and Grizzy. Mary was always prompt with text and emails and sent us some fun pictures. Much thanks for managing well some unexpected additional kitty duties during the stay. It was nice to return home to a well cared for home and happy kitties. We ALL look forward to having Mary and Wayne back here in Nov.

Mary and Wayne were fantastic. They took great care of the pups and of the house. We're especially grateful that they were there when our HVAC unit failed. Their patience and coordination were a tremendous help when trying to work through the repair contractor from a distance. Calm, confident, and competent, and super friendly. Choosing Mary and Wayne for this sit allowed us to enjoy our time away feeling comfortable and confident that our kitties and our home were in good hands. Mary and Wayne are the best!! They took great care of our pups and the house. They know how to take care of a home which was of immense help as they realized we had a water leak. They dealt with a few other mishaps that come with caring for a house and took care of it with no problems. Our dogs were very happy, they sent us pics and video. The house was spotless. Mary and Wayne were phenomenal house sitters! They took such great care of my 3 doggie! I never had to worry once during the 26 days we were gone. They sent me daily updates and photos of my babies while I was gone. When I came home the house was immaculate, Wayne had trimmed the bushes out front, and cleaned the travertine around the pool, and Mary left me a meatloaf and biscuits for our diner! I cannot say enough nice things about Wayne & Mary and their recent stay with our three dogs, cat, fourteen chickens, fish and plants/greenhouse. Mary and Wayne we're phenomenal when they graciously watched our pets while we took a 3 week, West Coast road trip. Everything went smoothly and the house was in perfect order after our return. We could tell our pets were taken care of very well. We would recommend to anyone :)
What a relief to have found Mary & Wayne! They took such good care of our dogs and our home. Great at giving us updates. And they're fun to spend some time with too. Our Chug kept going to their room to look for them. He got REALLY attached to Wayne. So glad their available to come again for our next trip
We really enjoyed meeting Mary and Wayne. They travel on a motorcycle and we were expecting severe storms for several day so we had them come and stay with us for 4 days before we left. It was great spending time with them and getting to know them. We felt completely comfortable with them and we knew that they would take good care of our pets.
