We are retired and are eager to travel and seek new adventures! We are very dependable, reliable, and easy going. I am a retired registered nurse, who has worked as a school nurse, in hospital's, home health and public health settings. My spouse is a retired laborer, who has experience as a coal miner, in the gas well industry and is a jack of all trades (very handy around the house).
We have a long successful history of 40 years as home owners. Over those years we have raised and handled many pets and animals who became part of the family. Our experience has been with 3 golden retrievers, a Doberman, a small dog and many cats. We have lived in the country when we were first married, where we had a horse, chickens, turkeys, lambs, rabbits, a cockatiel, a parrot, and goats. My husband also has experience with pigeons, owls and reptiles.
We are both active and like to explore new places, travel, hike, walk, bike ride, treasure hunt, watch sunsets and love the outdoors with plenty of sunshine.
We are experienced housesitters, and have enjoyed every housesit without any problems!

Brad and Jessie were wonderful! Communication prior to and during sit was great. We felt very secure leaving our home and animals in their care. House was clean and animals were happy as a clam upon our return. Highly reccomend!

Every year I leave my home and my precious Shyla for almost 3 months and during the last four years, I have been using housesitters instead of a boarding home. All the sitters I have had were great. Brad and Jessie, my fourth house sitters and were exceptionally great. Our Skype conversation went very well, they were very flexible with my flight bookings, and also asked many questions to be sure we would be a good fit. They even agreed to download Whatsapp since in Europe it is the easiest app ... They even agreed to download Whatsapp since in Europe it is the easiest app to keep in touch. Our Skye call went so well that I felt that I could trust them with my home and my beloved Shyla. Thankfully, they agreed to be our sitters. I never expect sitters to leave my house super clean, or to fix any repairs. All that really matters to me is to have a healthy and happy dog back when I get home. Brad and Jessie took excellent care of aging Shyla, they gave her some medication when needed and wrapped her one leg if necessary. They also left my home cleaner than before. Jessie found out how to remove the blue shadow from jeans, fingerprints, and stains from my white leather chairs. Jessie even left me the rest of the cleaner she had used because the cream I used only kept the leather soft but hardly removed spots or discoloration. Also many aggravating but not completely necessary odd repairs in the house, you know, the ones you never seem to get to were fixed! Brad, thank you so much, I can finally hear my doorbell again! I now have new light bulbs in the garage, a fixed security door, and many more repairs. One ceiling fan I knew I'd have to replace if I ever considered selling my home....is now balanced! I had tried myself many years ago to correct it without success but now it is so nice to turn the fan on and there is silence instead of a grinding noise until it gets to a certain speed. My plants were smiling when I got home and Brad even put my tender on the Nissan to keep the battery from losing power without me even thinking to do that. Sitting for 2.5 months is a long time to be away from their home, but they treated my home as they do theirs. Brad and Jessie are such friendly, good and honest people, I wish I had them as my neighbors! Thank you again for caring for Shyla and my home, Nicki & Shyla

Jessie and Brad took great care of our home and animals (dogs, horses, steers and cat) for 3 weeks while we were out of the country. We can't say enough good things about them -- their love of animals is evident and our home was left spotless. Jessie was great at sending pics and messages letting us know all was okay. We give them our highest endorsement!!
