Hi, I'm Claire, a British writer/actress/filmmaker living in Chicago. I have been in IL for 18 years, [current green card & passport]. I love to travel, & often feel creatively inspired by my surroundings. I have written & published two poetry books whilst house sitting. I also love animals & have a medium sized rescue dog, ten year old German Sheppard/Australian Cattle dog mix, very well behaved.

My partner, Christopher, is also a filmmaker & loves to travel with his camera, shooting footage wherever we go. He also used to maintain interior tropical plants for commercial properties.

We have a car, no kids. We love to travel with our dog, for short sits, if we cannot take her along, we have someone who is willing to care for her in our absence.

We have owned homes & pets, [dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, reptiles] & are looking forward to some great adventures.

We have completed two sits, 6 months off grid in New Mexico, & ten days in a town duplex in Salem, MA, [with two cats]. Chris has filmed a movie in each location.

I have also completed solo sits in IL for the same owner frequently over the past four years.

No rating I am endoring Claire as a great house sitter. She did an excellent job of taking care of my 2 cats. She also watered my plants and my home was clean and in good condition when I returned. I recommend her as a very good house/pet sitter.
