Upon completion of several house/pet sitter positions, I have realized it takes time and dedication to be great caregivers. If required to garden, mow the lawns, or repair broken appliances, some renumeration for these services should be offered.
I am cheaper per day than a kennel for your loved pets, especially if you have more than one. And they get to stay in their homes.
I am worth every dollar!

My husband and I have been members for one year. We had 6 different jobs over this year. We enjoyed the places we stayed and the animals we cared for.
Sadly, my husband passed away on July 29, 2023 after 9 weeks in hospice care. I have decided to continue being a house sitter and animal caregiver, for he and I enjoyed our previous sits.
Years ago we were caretakers of property in Port Royal, Roatan, Honduras. We were tasked with keeping the houses in good order, the gardens alive and the solar systems and water catchment working.
In our 36 years together, we took our sailboat around the world twice. To complete such a voyage we had to keep her in safe and in working condition. The chores were varied, from awning and sail making, painting and varnishing, bottom work, electrical, mechanical etc.
We love animals. We had a Jack Russell, Ilia, with us from an 8 week old till she passed at nearly 15. (2001-2016) we miss here every day.
In the past I have raised goats, had many cats, chickens, ducks, and sheep. I turned the soil for gardens as well.
I can offer our kindness, my energy to walk your dogs or hang out with your cats.
I am a non smoker and sometimes a glass of wine or bottle of beer is nice. I am vaccinated.
Having your loved one's in their own home, with 24 hour attention is worth our daily fee.

Karen an Mike were wonderful house and cat sitters. Our 4 cats "took" to them well. They paid great attention to details and followed the instructions we provide for them to the letter. We were able to communicate easily by e-mail and text and enjoyed numerous photos they sent of our cats. Mike and Karen were neat and tidy and our house was spotless when we got home. I highly recommend them to take care of pets and home.

Karen and Mike were wonderful! I came home to a clean house and my linen closet was even organized! I loved that! They took great care of my senior dog, Moonpie. She already misses Karen and Mike! I am so thankful for them staying and taking care of everything. They had great communication and let me know what was happening. I am so thankful for them!

Karen and her husband were the most wonderful house and pet sitters. Karen texted me frequent updates and was prompt with communication. She took AMAZING care of my 3 big dogs - multiple walks per day and lots of love and care. I came back to a spotless house (pretty sure it was cleaner than I left it!!). I highly recommend Karen and her husband to watch your home and pets.

We left our dog and 3 cats for a week in April with Karen and her husband and then they returned to watch over the animals and the house for an additional 5 weeks. We returned to happy pets and a neat and tidy house. The house plants had been taken care of and our rather large lawn had been mowed and everything looked great. No rating Karen and Mike are amazing house and pet sitters. They provided great care for my four pets and went above and beyond taking care of the house. (Karen discovered an issue with a bird nesting in my dryer vent and took care of it before it became a hazard!) I highly recommend them to anyone needing home/pet sitting and would love to have them care for my pets again.
