We've been empty nesters and working remotely since 2020. We want to tend gardens and plants, care for pets, live in different places, and explore food markets. This past year we have enjoyed stays in Turkey, Japan, Vietnam, Greece, Italy, France and the US. We are vegetarians, non-smokers, and very tidy. You would have a reliable couple to stay the entire time as requested and manage any other arrangements as necessary.
We're looking for place to write and work online. Kumiko is a Montessori teacher and I'm chef, author and educator. My wife and I have had pets for many years, dogs and cats, and have Red Cross Dog and Cat First Aid Certification. We keep a very clean kitchen and house. We are worldly wise, multi-lingual, sanitary, and very responsible.
Kumiko and I are very experienced travelers and house-sitters. We are listed on four separate sites in addition to Facebook pet sitting groups. We are happy to provide additional letters of recommendation and references from other sources (contact us for the link). We have been both house sitters and hosted house sitting for many years all around the globe. We are US citizens and Kumiko is originally from Japan. We look forward to spoiling your pets, garden, and taking care of your property.

Randall and Komiko were perfect house sitters for our home and animals. They had extensive communications with us prior so that they knew how to care for our animals. While away, we received updates and pictures which was so nice. On arriving home, our house was in perfect condition, everything in its place and our two dogs seemed very happy. Our cats had the privilege to host Randall and Kumiko for a week while we were out of town.
They were very flexible with their arrival and departure times considering they had a long drive and had to plan to be away from home during the holidays.
I was impressed by how responsive and communicative they were before and during the house sit. They kept us updated and sent pictures of our little ones frequently.
