Dianne

I have been house/pet sitting since retiring April 2018. I have sat with cats, dogs, rabbits, fish & birds. I grew up on a family farm in Mississippi where we had all kinds of animals: cats, dogs, geese, chickens, mules, cows, pigs.

House/pet sitting has given me the opportunity to travel and meet people that otherwise I would not be able to. I love to visit National Parks and photograph my travels here in America. My goal is to visit all 50 states & all the national parks.

I will take very good care of your pets and home while you are away & keep in contact if you so desire. I am trustworthy, non-smoker, non-drinker, no illegal drugs.

Before retiring I was manager of a college bookstore with other previous management positions. I have also volunteered in a national forest visitor center. As a store manager & a volunteer a background check was a requirement.

"Dianne did an absolutely wonderful job in taking care of my cat, Tom. We arranged for her to arrive the
evening before I left. She was personable, friendly, and very attentive to her upcoming tasks. We had a lovely
visit. She and Tom bonded immediately. Dianne's skills were put to the test just two days after her arrival,
when she was still getting accustomed to her new environment: Tom, in one of his outdoor wandering,
stepped on something sharp and wouldn't use that paw. Dianne called me to apprise me of the situation, and
I told her to use her own best judgement. She took him to the vet, who bandaged up the paw. The vet said
that if Tom ripped off the bandage, he would need to be confined indoors for a week. Of course, Tom did rip
off his bandage. And Dianne held firm to the "no outdoors" policy for the next week, though Tom protested.
mightily and I'm sure was no fun to be around. Dianne kept in contact with me, and shared photos of Tom. It
is clear they liked each other and enjoyed living together. And when I returned home, I found the house to be
absolutely sparkling clean. I would highly recommend Dianne as a pet sitter. She has the maturity to get the
job done and the personality to have fun while she does so."

"I highly recommend Dianne. We can home to happy, peaceful pets and a very clean and tidy house. Our trip
was scheduled for a weekend when two feet of snow were predicted at the last minute. I offered to board the
animals if Dianne felt uncomfortable driving to a location where she would be snowed in for days, but she
kept our agreement. She even had all the snow swept/shoveled from the entrance of the house on our return.
That is above and beyond! We maintained pleasant communication over the course of the sit. Dianne is very
self-sufficient and always responded to my check-in texts. The animals clearly had a nice time with her. Invite Dianne to sit! She is wonderful!"
