Alisa & Clarence

Hello,
We are Clarence & Alisa Laird. We are a retired couple who formerly owned & operated a very successful Appliance Repair business in Dallas, Texas. We were able to pass the torch to our daughter, who continues to run the business. Although we are retired, We are in great health. We are non smokers. I do enjoy a glass of wine occasionally. We have years of experience with many things, such as taking care of a home, raising children, taking care of indoor pets, farm animals, raising a garden, etc.

How it all started:
I began housesitting for my best friend about 10 years ago when she and her husband would travel. My duties include; taking care of the pets, watering plants, gathering mail & being present in the home for security purposes. I managed everything while they were away. In late 2019, that same friend encouraged me to promote my services. So, in January of 2020 I designed a webpage and began advertising. Then COVID struck. People weren't traveling, so my services weren't needed, so I tabled that plan. Until now.
In August of 2023, we stepped away from our business. I still had 2 family's that I sat for on a regular basis. Now, my husband Clarence could join me on my House / Pet sitting assignments. We found it was a perfect situation. We work well as a team! So, I asked him if he would want to pursue other assignments. He was on board.. So here we are.
House / Pet sitting gives us the opportunity to be together, to travel to other areas and subsidize our income on a part time basis.
When we arrive at our clients home, we arrive with our own food / toiletries, and basic things we use on a daily basis.
