Hi,
I am currently in Pacifica, CA, booked through early January 2025.
I have many years of experience in house- and pet-sitting. I started as a way to help friends and family and now I do It to hang out with pets, having none of my own currently. I also have met many wonderful people thru this site.
I work from home exclusively, via the internet exclusively. (No phone calls) It's vital your home have a reliable connection if I'm to stay there since I'll need to keep working. My work allows me to work when and however long I choose, so I can arrange my day around your pet's schedule to take play breaks.
Currently I live with family in VA and so I also pet sit to get away to places I prefer, which means urban areas, preferably on the "best coast." Note that my "preferred locations" page isn't really accurate, since the site requires me to click thru every county or metro area state by state, so I just selected that I'm willing to sit "anywhere." You can always reach out to see if I'd be interested in your area, but keep in mind I prefer a walkable area close to amenities.
I currently don't have a car, but can always rent a car in the area of a sit.
I love animals and give a lot of attention and love to the pets I care for. I like walking, hiking and just being outdoors.
I've cared for nearly every kind of pet: dogs, cats, birds of all sizes, guinea pigs and fish, even a gecko. (Not a fan of snakes.) I am able to care for big dogs, but not if they're not trained on the leash. Sorry, I don't want to sit any more dogs who consistently pull on their leash, unless they're small and easy to handle.
I volunteered on organic farms & ranches across the US as a "WOOFer," gaining experience with gardening and caring for a variety of farm animals. I am happy to take care of gardens, but at this time I am not interested in farm sits or other rural/remote situations.

- No charge for sits in desirable locales that have good walk scores
- Love to photograph/video animals and will text and/or email updates & pics at whatever frequency you desire
