I`m Christiane from Germany. I'm a semi-retired teacher, so I have a lot of time. I like to travel and enjoy to help other people by beeing their house and pet sitter ;-)
I am very reliable, responsible, diligent and have full references. You can read them on my profile. I like pets and I have much experience in care of them since a long time. I will send you daily updates if needed to let you know all is well, for your peace of mind.
I live in my own house, so I know what it means to maintain a house and garden. I'm a non smoker and prefer non smoking areas.

Chris is amazing!! She is the sweetest person, and she absolutely spoiled our two cats with love and play. They were so happy and clearly well cared for when we got home. She is also tidy and clean. Would not hesitate to ask her to sit again if we go for a long trip.

Christiane is brilliant! This was the 2nd time that Christiane came to Jersey to housesit Pixie. I had total peace of mind being away knowing how caring and attentive she is to Pixie. I had photos and updates regularly. Came back to a clean house and very contented cat. Would happily have Christiane to cat sit anytime. Such a lovely lady.
Christiane was just amazing, She looked after the cats and the house very well and I was totally at ease that I have left someone trustworthy at home. I came back from holiday to a clean and tidy house and content pets! I absolutely recommend Christiane.
It's been a lovely experience knowing Chris, and having her house sit and look after our beloved cat Fred. Chris is friendly and joyful, careful and thorough. Fred was content and entertained, and the house was spotless. We had the added fun of learning about German culture and exchanging recipe tips. We hope we will have the chance of another sitting experience with Chris in the future, as we have become very very fond of her.
Christianne did an excellent job during the two weeks we were away. She took very good care of Sophie and our house. She impressed us with her diligence on an issue in following up with the mail-pharmacy to obtain Sophie's medicine in time because of a miscommunication between our vet and the mail-pharmacy. I want everyone to know what a wonderful experience I had with Christiane! She agreed to come a couple of days early so she could get to know my dog, Riley. They immediately fell in love. While I was gone, she sent me a daily report/picture of her adventures with Riley. I'm very thankful for that. I sincerely hope that whenever I need another caregiver for Riley that Chris will be available.
We were so pleased that Christiane was available to house sit for us. We had a slight overlap before we left and after we returned - and she was the perfect house guest, as well as keeping our place looking great while we were away. We returned to find dinner cooked!
Our cat Pudding really liked Christiane and they had clearly become good friends while we were away.
I'd have absolutely no hesitation recommending Christiane, in fact I have already to my sister. 5 star house sitter!!
I highly recommend Chris. She took great care of our cat, who loves people but had been anxious and was not eating properly following a move several weeks earlier. The cat was perfectly calm and ate normally during the time that Chris was here. Chris left the house clean and was such a nice person to meet.
It was lovely to meet Chris, she was very friendly and kind and clearly an animal lover. She took excellent care of my home and most importantly kept the cat happy and relaxed whilst I was away. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris as a sitter.
We were so happy we chose Chris to look after our new puppy. She kept us informed regularly with updates, photos and little videos of our little Lottie. She was very caring and made special effort to continue with the training we had begun. We would not hesitate to use her again for our next trip.
It was the first house sitting for us and we were so lucky and happy to find Christiane. As soon as we met her, we didn't feel that we were leaving our flat to a stranger but to someone trustworthy and a cat lover for sure :)

We had the pleasure of Christiane house and pet sitting for us and she was amazing! She was able to rearrange her schedule for us so that she arrived the day before we left on holiday to do a proper hand over particularly with our alarm system. She took great care with our pets and our home and we would highly recommend her for any future house sits. Thank you so much, Chris!!
We were very lucky to find Christiane to look after our flat and cat for over 2 weeks. She was very responsive over email when first arranging the house sit and very flexible with dates. She looked after the flat like it was her own home, and our cat Balthazar looked very content when we got home. She sent us some picture updates while we were away, which was really nice. She left our house spotless. Would highly recommend her, and hope we can use her again!
Christiane is a really nice person, she is very positive and happy. She took care of our two cats Beer and Guinness while we were away for two weeks. When we got back they were looking great, calm and serene. The house was cleaner and tidier than when we left, the garden was looking great and she even prepared a lovely soup with courgettes from the garden for us! We can strongly recommend her.
Christiane was an excellent house sitter. Our cat was well looked after and happy and clearly had a great bond with Christiane and didn't miss us too much at all. The house was very clean when we returned (probably cleaner than when we left!) and all post was organised. Whilst we were away Christiane sent regular updates which was very reassuring. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Christiane. We feel very lucky to have found her.
Christiane, looked after our home and our cat for three weeks while we were on holiday , she is a lovely lady, very polite and friendly. While we were away we kept in touch with Christiane just to make sure everything was ok.
